Hazrat Hamza Khan Shahi Mosque, situated within the jurisdiction of Panchlaish Thana in Chittagong, is currently seeking a qualified and devout Imam for their esteemed mosque. This position requires a candidate who is knowledgeable, eloquent in delivering sermons, and adheres to Sunni beliefs. The chosen Imam must possess a Kamil degree and have a minimum of 5 years of experience leading congregational prayers, with a strong emphasis on Quranic recitation skills.
Job Responsibilities
As the Imam of Hazrat Hamza Khan Shahi Mosque, the responsibilities include:
- Leading Congregational Prayers: Conducting daily prayers (Salah) and delivering sermons (Khutbah) during Jumu’ah (Friday) prayers.
- Religious Guidance: Providing religious guidance and counseling to community members on matters pertaining to Islamic teachings and practices.
- Community Engagement: Engaging with the local community to foster unity, promote religious education, and participate in community events.
Qualifications Required
- Educational Background: Kamil degree from a recognized Islamic institution.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as an Imam, with proficiency in recitation and memorization of the Quran.
