Job Summary:
Pacific Jeans Limited, a leading apparel manufacturer & exporter in Chittagong EPZ, is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Jr. Executive – Supply Chain (Pacific Jeans Job Circular 2024). This is a full-time opportunity based in our Chattogram location.
Responsibilities:
- Processing approved requisitions and sending them to relevant suppliers (Pacific Jeans Job Circular 2024).
- Soliciting quotations from suppliers, negotiating pricing, terms, and conditions (Pacific Jeans Job Circular 2024).
- Preparing and submitting comparative statements for management approval (Pacific Jeans Job Circular 2024).
- Awarding purchase orders/work orders to selected suppliers (Pacific Jeans Job Circular 2024).
- Communicating with suppliers regarding product delivery (Pacific Jeans Job Circular 2024).
- Collaborating with users and the Merchandising department to ensure product quality (Pacific Jeans Job Circular 2024).
- Collecting and processing bills and goods received notes (GRNs) from suppliers and ensuring timely payment (Pacific Jeans Job Circular 2024).
- Providing support and coordination with various departments, particularly Audit & Accounts (Pacific Jeans Job Circular 2024).
- Settling all advances taken against orders within the committed timeframe (Pacific Jeans Job Circular 2024).
- Maintaining all documents and following departmental SOPs for record keeping (Pacific Jeans Job Circular 2024).
- Contributing to the implementation of new or improved supply chain processes (Pacific Jeans Job Circular 2024).
- Completing any additional tasks assigned by the department (Pacific Jeans Job Circular 2024).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE background preferred).
- Maximum age of 26 years.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
